that a tangent has occured

He reminded her of John. Not in action, not really. Not in the way he spoke to people. In frustration. In the way he carried himself. Kept to himself, for the most part. He had people, not not a lot of people. He had rituals. Little things.

She was pretty sure he was not destined to lead mankind to salvation.

So Hal Yorke reminded Allison of John Connor. She'd teased him about it once, on the network. Not that he'd ever know that's what it meant. As if she'd tell him. She barely knew him, and she was pretty sure he thought she was an idiot. Or feral.

She'd asked him if it was lonely being him.

It had been funny, at the time.

Allison hadn't seen him, not since what had happened. The day she'd had a 'break with reality'. She wasn't really sure her reality was repaired, but...well. She hadn't seen him. And she worried. Worried!

It was something to do, maybe. To keep from thinking about what she'd done. His reactions to it. The nurse's girlfriend's questioning her about it. Her blood stained sheets. Nightmares she still had about hydrobots in the baths, and harvesters in the mines.

It was something to do.
